Very nice Sichuan restaurant of spicy food. So delicious that I don't have time to take pictures. Highly recommend Double Cooked Pork and Sweet purple Yam Rice Coated with sesame. This is my first day in NY and this definitely a warm welcome of Big Apple! Real Sichuan food for foodies. It is very late right now and still pack of people.

After a little bit of cocktails and taking in the skyline, my bestie's nose was intoxicated by the smell of spice; she needed Sichuan food bad. We thought it was a little ironic that this place was called "the" Best Sichuan, but as we all know, the more packed a place is, especially with locals, is a fool-proof sign the food is banging. Our mouths were salivating just upon entry, and we knew it would be a disservice to this establishment if we got our food to go; we had to make the sacrifice and sit at a booth in the back and eat it hot outta the kitchen. Her eyes were wild looking at the picture options, and quickly settled on pork dumplings in red oil and dan dan noodles. I felt I needed to give this place a fair shot and ordered soup dumplings as a knee-jerk reflex. What a wonderful impulse decision! Soup dumplings - although they took 15-20 minutes approximately, they were PERFECT. Thin dumpling skin; plenty of meaty, oily broth. If this was lunch time, I would polish two trays all to myself. A MUST! Dan Dan Noodles - these are VERY authentic. If you are looking for a more peanut flavor than a numbing hotness, then these won't be for you. The noodles seemed to be a little lacking for me, but yet addicting to keep trying another bite. Pork dumplings in red oil - although there is a lot of skin in comparison to the meat ratio, these little purses are seasoned to the nines! One order is not enough; get two if you hate sharing! We WILL be back!

My friend and I tried out this sichuan place the other week. Food is pretty quality! We shared the Szechuan Dan Dan Noodles, Dry Stir Fried String Beans and Chicken in Chili Sauce. This was plenty of food for 2 people. I've had better chicken but the other 2 dishes were great! Food came pretty quick as well.

While visiting NYC for a week, I cared much more about having high-quality Chinese food than I did about satisfying any pizza craving. My partner and I walked to Best Sichuan after watching a Broadway musical. It was perfect since many other restaurants were closed by then. The restaurant was fairly empty, and customer service was fantastic. Admittedly, this is some of the best Sichuan food I've ever had, though I haven't eaten much in my lifetime. Collectively we ordered Eggplant with Spicy Garlic Sauce, as well as Dry Pot Fish. Both dishes were sooo good (also insanely temperature hot) complimented perfectly by white rice. I'd definitely go out of my way to come back next time I'm in NYC!
